Courtney received her Masters of Science in Clinical Counseling from Charleston Southern University and her Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Coastal Carolina University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in South Carolina. She has experience working with adults, adolescents, children, families and couples. Courtney’s counseling approach is tailored to specific needs of the client. Some of her favorite modalities are cognitive- behavior therapy (CBT), mindfulness based therapy, and family systems. Courtney has experience with helping individuals through a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, and anger. Courtney loves to supply clients with tools or skills to keep in their “tool box” in order to be best prepared in their daily lives. During her free time, Courtney loves to spend time with her fur babies, a dog and a cat. She also loves to curl up with a good book or spend time at the beach. Courtney strives to create a therapeutic safe place to be able to communicate struggles and identify goals in order to become the best version of yourself.
