I believe healing happens when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), I provide compassionate, evidence-based care to help clients navigate life’s challenges while fostering lasting emotional wellness and personal growth.
I work with children ages 8 and older, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My clinical experience includes treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, self-esteem, anger management, family re-integration, identity development, emotional regulation, neurodivergence, and behavioral challenges. I also offer Christian counseling for clients who wish to incorporate their faith into the therapeutic process.
My approach is collaborative, individualized, and strengths-based. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore difficult emotions, gain insight, develop healthy coping strategies, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. Together, we identify goals that align with each client’s values while building resilience and confidence throughout the healing journey.
I utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs, including:
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT)
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy
- SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) Assessment
Whether you’re facing the effects of trauma, navigating relationship difficulties, struggling with anxiety or depression, or simply seeking personal growth, my goal is to walk alongside you with compassion, clinical expertise, and practical tools that empower you to thrive.
When I’m off the clock, I’m happiest with a good book, a notebook, video game, or my hammock, a hiking trail, or my hands in my garden. I love animals, quiet moments and connection time with friends and family . Those are the places where I recharge so I can be fully present with the people who mean the most to me.
